Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty, but runs HUGE 1. Sizing / Design: Based on the look of the catalog product shots, I ordered a size down to an XS from my usual Anthro Small. For reference, I'm 5'5", 34F, 27 waist, and still found myself swimming in the sweater. The sleeves are "batwing" style so there's likely extra fabric on the sides intentionally (I measured about 2-3 extra inches on each side). It does come across as a bit boxy as a result though, so it might work better on straighter figures. The length goes to to the top of my hips (i.e. probably not long enough for leggings). 2. Material / Look: The product shot is true to form in showing the cream color and stitching details. It's lovely and intricate. I think the fabric is substantial enough that you don't have to be uber careful about snags, and it's close-knit enough so that you could probably get away without wearing a cami underneath. I had on a nude bra and could ever so slightly see it so it depends on your level of comfort I suppose. Ultimately I was hoping this would be a "cool, slouchy" sweater to wear with skinny jeans but in the end, it's just too big. I felt like it was compromising to curves and I think some ladies will sadly be sized out. A shame because it is very pretty! March 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by ADORE!!! I absolutely love this top. It can be dressed up or down, paired with jeans or a skirt and is sooooo special. You can't really tell on the photos, but there's all sorts of extra touches and embellishments on this top on the sleeves and neckline. I agree with the previous reviewer - it does run large, but it's definitely designed to be a loose, flowey type of top. The fabric is very structured (but not rough) so it will keep it's shape well. I think it's delicate but not overly so and I love the color. It's on the heavier side so I don't think this will get a lot of wear in the middle of summer, but I'll wear it plenty the rest of the year. Color is definitely more cream than tan and goes well with many skin tones. Needs a tank top underneath. Another perk: it's not a dry-clean product! Hand wash, lay flat to dry. :) March 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Runs large I ended up returning my medium and had to order a small. It is beautiful detail, but a little large and a little boxy, March 8, 2013
