Oh my goodness. As my username indicates, I absolutely love Anthropologie clothing with all my heart! However, the past few months haven't been overly impressive, especially in the dress department (which has been good for my wallet!). All this to say, this dress is exceptional! I'm usually a size 4 or 6 in Anthro dresses, and a small fit me perfectly. This dress is so comfortable, because the inside is cotton, and the back looks oh so delicate and sophisticated. And my favorite thing about this dress is the length. At least on me (I'm about 5' 6"), this dress goes slightly below me knees, which I love! This length and the style of the dress look beautifully vintage! And usually I look awful in the color orange, but this dress is more of a vibrant coral color! I can't say anything bad about this dress! It's truly a knock-out!

I live in the greater Boston area, and we aren't likely to experience really springy weather until late April or May, but just being around this dress gives a girl that kind of feeling. As others have said, the color in the online photo is a little off- the dress is much more watermelon/coral than orange, and the stripes are multifaceted and textured, making the dress much more interesting in person than it first appeared to me online. I found the fit to be spot on, and though the fibers might not be the most organic, the stretch and give of the dress is such that it is utmostly comfortable. The stripes have been laid in the different directions so it is extremely flattering on a curvy lady, but I also imagine it would work well on the more narrow.I love that it doesn't even require a zipper, and that the back cutout is placed well enough for normal undergarments to be completely hidden.
I've been looking for a dress that is a little below the knees, and this has a cut that is ever so suggestive of the 1930s, almost becoming more narrow from the pleating at the waist. At 5'6", just as another reviewer mentioned, the hemline hits an inch or so below my knees, yet is perfectly wearable with flats or heels. Despite the summery color, I also feel like this dress is perfectly adorable with grey or navy accoutrements, and I've worn it with tights and ankle booties to a lot of compliments already. It's much more seasonal than one might imagine, extremely comfortable, and a good Anthro price point.
I am ridiculously pleased with this purchase, and encourage others to give it a try. I too was unconvinced after seeing it only in pictures online, but after reading reviews and then seeing it in-store, I'm absolutely in love.

I tried this dress on today, I didn't purchase it yet, but I will. I loved it. In this picture it looks kind of matronly but I didn't think it looked that way on me. I am fair skinned with platinum blonde hair, and It's the dead of winter but i had an instant tan in this dress! The cut of the top was comfortably fitted and flattering. The back felt like a halter, but I had a regular bra on and it didn't show. It is lined and it has pockets too. I'm 5'4" 120# 32D and the 4 was perfect, but several inches longer than this picture.
