Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful! I found this dress in the store as well, and is so much more beautiful in person than online. You must see this fabric! I found the dress to run very small in the midsection and needed to size up for comfort. I am typically a size 12 in Anthro dresses but went with a 14 in this one, however I do wear the straps with mine. I also found this dress to run short in the torso/bodice area which is perfect for me but would be too empire waistish if you are average to tall bodiced. The fit is beautiful and flattering. The only thing I didn't like is the acetate lining. The dress looks good with Anthro's new fabric square belt or stretch wooden belt. They add extra color and dimension. January 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Truly a special piece! Similar to another reviewer, I had actually walked out of the store and was looking into the windows as I passed until I saw this dress then instantly turned around to head straight back in to take a closer look. The graphic on it is gorgeous, and somehow far more realistic and architectural in person. The cloud pattern is more subtle and the gold in the buildings can be complimented beautifully by an antiqued gold statement necklace. I usually wear between an 8 and 10 in dresses. The 8 fit nicely, but I'm a 36C and was able to fill the top pretty well, so I went with the 10 to give the skirt a little more "swish" when I walk. I highly recommend this dress as it can be paired with a multitude of cardigan/jacket options in colder weather and will be a gorgeous dress all summer long. If you love Anthropologie for its unique items that lead people to stop you in your tracks to tell you how great you look, then snap up this dress asap! February 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unusual Showstopper After reading some of the online reviews, I thought I would scope out the Skyward dress in store. Luckily, my local Anthro had it in stock. I love everything about this dress! The pattern is so different -- the combination of cityscape and clouds is gorgeous in person. The blues in the sky portion of the dress are vibrant and striking. I especially like the folded-origami aspect of the upper bust. It's a great detail that you might not notice at first, but really elevates the dress. The material is substantial, but not heavy, and it is fully lined. The sash is removable, so you can always add a different belt if you like. I highly recommend this dress! March 14, 2013
