Rated 3 out of 5Â by Sirrala Lovely concept, not a good execution
The image suggests a white and blue dress, however the color of the top is closer to cream/butter than white, and the gauze layer is a pretty pleated lilac. The dress is VERY sheer, and I'm surprised it didn't have a lining. The cut is not flattering for all body shapes--I have a curvier body, and it just didn't sit well on my waist. As another reviewer said, I think the gauze layer should have been under the fjord skirt, and the dress needs a better shape. I will be returning this dress.

When I first saw the Floating Fjords Dress online, I was intrigued. I love the concept of the dress and it's uniqueness. I waited for it to go on sale (and for free shipping) to give it a shot.
When I got the dress I was a little disappointed in the quality of the fabric, it is very thin and feels like it could just fall apart. Which is probably emphasized by the fact that it was too small on me. I ordered my normal size 6, and the waist fit, but the skirt stayed too tight, and the bust was far too tight with unflattering seam placement. I have a very top-heavy figure, so this happens and I understand not all dresses are made for me. But the skirt was also very clingy and kept riding up when I would walk.
If I was more confident in the quality I would maybe try and order a larger size, but I think I'm better off with one of the many other Anthropologie dresses I am absolutely in love with.

I'm usually a size 4 in anthro dresses - I ordered this in the 6 because I was feeling chubby last week and I couldn't even zip it midway up my ribcage! And I have the smallest boobs ever! That and the waist is SO HIGH.
