Nosegay Corduroy Skirt

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous, soft, well-made Okay, a printed corduroy skirt: who would want that? This skirt totally surprised me. It is a very thin-wale corduroy, no bulk to it and very soft. The colorway is nothing short of luscious, hardly to mention how many colors would be complemented by it. I am usually a 6 or 8, got this in a 6 and it fits perfectly. Easy to wear, comfortable, versatile, well-fitting, washable. So happy I happened to order it almost expecting it would be returned. No, it will be worn! Also, note, it is more fitted through the hips with a bit of a flare at the bottom instead of the rather dowdy look depicted in the on-line photos (that make it look like a schoolgirl skirt from long ago). Rated 5 out of 5 by Almost, not quite This is a flattering, fit-and-flare style in very nice, fine-wale corduroy. The floral pattern is striking, with lots of jewel tones and bolder colors. But the pattern isn't matched up at all across the panels, so the effect is chaotic and rather disappointing. Even though the design of the skirt is slimming, the pattern is super-busy because each panel clashes with the next. It fits true to size. January 31, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not for Curvy I have to differ with some other reviewers - I am usually a six in all Anthropologie skirts, but I found this skirt to be mermaid cut and way too tight around the hips. I would recommend sizing up for hour-glass shapes. Versatile print - could wear with navy or black tights. March 8, 2013
