I REALLY wanted to like this dress. I actually made a trip to Anthro on a mission to buy it. However, while it's absolutely adorable - lovely color, beautifully styled, fits like a dream - it is surprisingly cheaply constructed. Two of the buttons near the collar popped right off as I was trying it on (and I was being reasonably careful with them as they are quite delicate). Secondly, this dress is unlined, which I think is a little weird for a dress of this price and such thin material. I tried it on with a slip underneath, which was much better, but still off-putting that a dress of this material and at this price point would not be lined.

I also wanted to love this dress - I thought it would be a perfect piece to transition from winter into spring at the office. Unfortunately, the dress feels cheaply constructed (no lining or pockets, which are the nice anthro details). Also, I am not large chested but I had a dramatic amount of the infamous "boob pull" between the buttons with full exposure. I tried pinning, etc., but I even sewing on a mini snap probably wouldn't do the trick - I think it would basically have to be sewn closed by my tailor. Not worth it to put more money into this cheap dress that I wanted to love. Back it goes. :(

i ordered this dress for valentines day, and was so sad when it arrived. it's made of very thin, unlined material, no pockets, and is fairly sheer. the fit was off - the waist didn't sit right, and the chest was so tight, i wasn't able to fully button it (for reference, i am a 38C, and between a 10 and 12 in anthro dresses). it might work for a thin frame with no bust, but hourglass girls will find it difficult to wear. truly sad that i will have to continue my search for the perfect little red dress, as i returned this one today.
