I took a chance on these when they had the $25 off $100 sale and so glad I did! This is one of my favorite pairs of pants from Anthro in years - and I have a lot. The fabric is a medium weight and they are nicely lined so they will be good in Oklahoma except in extreme hot or cold. The fabric is a fabulous navy/white/greyish tweed that is so much more versatile than just a regular navy. As for fit - I am a curvy 5'2", 135 lbs. and ordered the 6 petitie, which was the right size - very flattering. As for the length - even in the petite I have to wear 3+ inch heels or have the pants hemmed; I hate to have them hemmed because the fabric and fit of the pants is flowy and not sure I would like a shorter version of the flow. The 6 fit perfectly everywhere on the curves and I do think if you are not curvy or if you are at the bottom of your size, you could probably go down a size as I have a bit of extra space in mine, but enough to size down. These are fabulously perfect pants but they are dry clean only, not a problem for me, but heads up for those who don't like that.

I purchased a petite 4 after reading the size chart (I am 5' 2 and 110 lbs). I was swimming in these pants! I have bought many Elvensies and this is the first time this has happened. Overall, these pants are beautiful and I wish it had worked better.

The look of these pants is great, and they fit me nicely. I also loved the striations and almost shiny surface of the material. But folks, when I took these pants off I noticed the fabric had pulled about 2 inches apart in the back near the waistband, in a place where they were not even tight! (Thank heaven I was wearing a long cardigan that day.) Also they snagged in 2 places on my smooth leather boots while I was simply walking . . . but I was able to smooth the thread out there.
In other words, I must have gotten a pair that were either cut from a damaged/weakened section of the knitted or woven fabric or maybe I walk to fast? I felt kind of sad returning them because I got so many compliments on them that day from my students and others. They are swanky and lovely, besides the fabric woe.
