Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tibbey for the tiny waisted
I just tried on this beauty , and it is even prettier in person than on my monitor. The little bit of color along the mid area is very bright so it actually shows up, I normally wear a size 8 in skirts but depending on the maker I might have to buy a 10. So on the safe side I went with a 10 .I would need to buy a 14 in this to be comfortable and perhaps breath a little. At least this one was way to small in the waist by 2-3 sizes, The material is very pretty and the drape was lovely .I am returning it, not bothering to find a larger size since I shop online. It would be a roll of the dice to size this for me. I wish Anthropologie would supply basic measurements on the online products! >: Oh yeh, It too long for me but I was willing to hem it up because of how pretty and unusual it is.

I had been eyeing this skirt for a while and snapped it up the moment it went on sale! The fabric is silky soft and has a gorgeous sheen to it - it's a very drapey, beautiful silk-cotton. I love the print as well, as geometric print maxis can be a little hard to find. It's definitely true to size - I have a 30" waist and 40" hips so I buy a 12 in pants and usually take a 10 in a-line skirts like this so they fit comfortably on my natural waist and the 10 is perfect on me. It is a tiny bit on the long side. I can just get away with it but would feel more comfortable wearing it with heels to ensure it doesn't drag. It wouldn't be a problem if you needed to hem it up as the design won't be affected too much.
A few notes on the design itself. The colours are a little hard to make out online, and when you look at this skirt in real life from afar it does look true to the photos. But up close if you actually examine the colours, they're quite vibrant almost neon red and blue, and there is also a bright neon yellow running along the top zig-zag. As I said, from afar the colours look softer and the skirt would look great with jewel-toned reds, pinks and purples, or of course black.
Also, the printed panel at the hem is not lined up on the side seams, so it does look a little bit dodgy there. It is a very full swishy skirt so this isn't hugely noticeable, but if you're a stickler for detail then keep this in mind.

I was really excited to get this skirt in the mail but, had to return it since the white part was to sheer for me. I live in Arizona and adding a slip underneath isn't an option. If you don't live in a really hot place I would recommend this skirt. It is much prettier in person and fit true to my size (2).
