Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable, Chic & Classic. Love Love Love! I am 5' 7 1/2 ", 140 lbs., with heavier thighs and flat behind, I bought a size 29. One of the sales girls in the store said she regrets not going down a size for the pair she got because they stretched out too much for her, so I tried on the 28 but couldn't even button them. I think the 30's would have been gapping at the waist. So I bought snug but not tight. This is a classic, versatile black pant. If you like your clothes not to look too new, these are for you, but they're not ripped up and sloppy. just a very slight distress with very light whisker creases. They aren't the very deepest of blacks, but still have a fresh look about them. I've been looking for black distressed jeans for months now and am completely happy with these pants. They're well-made, soft, comfortable and substantial. These have more stretch than I've ever worn. I was afraid they would slip down like my other slow-rise, stretch skinny sausage casings, but I think with a higher rise, they seem to stay in place much better and I'm not tugging them up all the time. They seem to retain a consistent amount of stretch throughout the day. Seat doesn't sag! Yea!! Though you can "feel" them all along the leg, they just feel reassuring rather than restricting. I wear them with black booties and they give my legs a good long straight line. I feel confident in these jeans. Well done, Pilcro Stet. February 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by flattering jeans Note: The jeans are a bit lighter then they look in the picture, more of a faded grey/black. They are very flattering, since the rise is a little higher than a lot of skinny jeans. The material is nice and thick, they are noticeably warmer than my AG ankle legging skinnies. I am 5' 3"ish and 108 pounds. I bought my usual 26. I have noticed that they stretch out in the knee area, but this always seems to happen to me, since I have skinny legs. However, they do not seem to stretch out in the waist, so a 25 might be too tight in that area. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. January 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Finally! I have waited and waited for skinny jeans to GO AWAY since I am sans gams and height of Grace Potter- 5'4", 145 lbs., 36C, 29' waist and I carry the majority of my weight in my hips, butt and thighs. Skinny jeans looked atrocious on me...until now. Having not worn many skinny jeans, it's difficult to pinpoint what makes these so flattering- the 29s fit like a glove without making those unsightly creases in the backs of my thighs that tell the world- "Hey! My pants are too tight!" Most of my pilcros bunch at the crotch from the high waisted feature and longer zipper but with these jeans I hardly notice. The denim gathers around the knees some but looks cute and then hits right at my ankles without suffocating them- instead they are loose at the ankles- a flattering detail that really works for my figure. These jeans are amazing- I got them yesterday and I will be wearing them today. Faded black with suttle whiskering at the pockets. I am even comfortable wearing a cropped top in these since they are high waisted- NEVER thought I would do that wearing skinny jeans. May 11, 2013
