Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing I fell in love with this dress as soon as it came online. It appears to be extremely versatile, easy to style, and the print is so beautiful and unique. At this price point, my hopes were high. Upon removing the dress from the box, I was already disappointed. The silk looked thin, and there was only a thin lining in the bodice portion of the dress. The material felt like that of a $40 dress, not a nearly $300 dress. I typically wear a 4-6 or a small in dresses, and as I am smaller on top, I thought the small would be the best fit. Boy, was I wrong. The sleeves are absolutely TINY. I could not get the dress completely on for this reason...and from what I could tell, it was not going to zip up. If I decide to rebuy this dress...I'm not even sure that sizing up to a medium would be enough. Exact measurements for online only items would be appreciated on individual product pages. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the same dress Loved the look of this dress and ordered it straightaway. So disappointed when I received this dress. I am normally a size 0 or XS and ordered the smallest size in this dress, size Small. For reference, I'm 5'8", 112lbs, 34a. The dress fit but was slightly wide around my waist, however it was tight around my back. I could zip it up easily, but didn't have much arm movement. But my real disappointment comes from the fact that the dress received is not the same as the one pictured. The model is wearing a dress with slightly puffy shoulders and a round neckline. The dress I received had no shoulders and the front was a sweetheart neckline (it plunged down). One would not be able to wear a regular bra with this dress, since the sleeves start at the side of your shoulders and the rest is open neckline (I hope I am making sense). The way the dress looked in the front was quite dowdy and not as hip and relaxed as it looked on the model. Also, only the top of the dress is lined, the skirt is very see through and you would need to wear a slip underneath. The dress on the model looks so cute, alas it does not translate this way to the dress which is sold by Anthro. December 8, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Thin and ill fiting True to other reviews, this dress runs small, with the arms being expceptionally smaller and tighter. The pattern is whimisical, which is what I loved about it online, but in person it's a horrible fit and poor quality (very thing material and no lining in the bottom half) December 16, 2012
