Rated 5 out of 5 by Add Fun to Winter LOOK: You can not tell from pictures how dressy the fabric is. It is almost like a velvet or corduroy. It has a nice sheen to it. Just enough to add a little dressiness. I thought they would be cotton canvas like Chucks, but they are much nicer. FIT: True to size. I am a 7-7.5 in Miss Albright's. I got the 7.5 so I could wear thick socks for winter. Comfortable height and well balanced. January 3, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Okay, but... I wanted to love these booties, but the fabric is not a kilim, or a true ikat like I had thought. It's more like upholstery, and shiny from maybe polyester in the fabric. They are true to size, but important to me these days is comfort, and they are very stiff and a not-leather band is sewn around the inside of the top to keep their shape, I'm guessing--but doesn't feel good against the front of your ankle with just the few steps that I took. My heel slipped in them, and hit that front ankle part, and that doesn't feel good to these old-lady knees either. The zipper is difficult to work. Going back. :( January 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Add a great POP to your closet! These boots were waiting for me when I got home yesterday. Took them out of the box, put them on and wore them the rest of the evening, walking around the city. VERY comfortable. Just enough heel. Well made. As per other reviews--not evident from the photos--the fabric is like a crushed velvet/chenille. Nice texture in addition to the color and pattern. Fits TTS. Boots were more pointy than I expected. They are made in china, as I'm sure most of this brand are. I wish that info had been included in the description. January 5, 2013
