I have to agree with the other reviewer who said that this item does not live up to Anthropologie's quality standards. This jacket immediately caught my eye when I saw it in the Holiday 2012 catalog. In fact, I thought it was a sweater because the fur in the picture laid very flat. When I saw this item in Fresh Cuts I immediately located it at one of my nearby Anthro stores. Disappointment is the best word to describe this item. It does run small and the fur doesn't look anything like the one shown in catalog, much longer and the color not as rich. The sleeves run short, even in the size Large, and the overall length felt short. The ties are also a different color than the one shown in the catalog and the stitching of the crocheted areas to the fur material does not lie flat. Overall look is bulky not sleek like the catalog picture. My immediate thought was they created a prototype for the catalog and quite a different, and cheaper version for sale to us, same as the other reviewer. I did end up purchasing, and have kept trying on wanting so much to love it, but just can't get past the fact that it doesn't live up to that darn catalog picture and I won't be satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by BKMAZ Finnish ancestry; had to buy it
What caught my attention was the style and trim-- traditional Finnish. The blue fur is a little out there, though. While I was a bit self conscious the first time I wore it, I got so many complements from fashionistas that I'm just going to have to get over myself. I'm 5'7" with a slim build and got it in XS. Going up a size just makes it look boxy.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by ana1bythesea hum..... but quite lovely
ok ladies I'm not sure about the other reviews, I guess this jacket looks very different on different body types. I ordered a SMALL, because the last two coats I ordered at anthro in Mediums were huge, this was not. Actually it fit but a bit more snug than I like, if it were a jacket I would keep a S. I'm 5'5" 128-130 lbs, 37 1/2" hips, bust 36B, 27 1/2" waist (no fat) but here 's the thing, I do not have skinny arms, they are normal sized and that's where this jacket was awkward and snug. I did not find this jacket ran large. In fact I'm returning the S for M. the color is beautiful, not sure I like the pom closure, or the odd low shoulder cut, it makes me look like an Eskimo or a football player. I'm still deciding if I'll keep it once I try it in a Med.
