This is definitely for wintertime as it is warm and snuggly. The sherpa lining is wonderful.
My only complaint is that it was not very flattering. Not that this totally matters, as it is a robe, but I'm not sure I'd want anyone seeing me in it. It added 20 lbs.

Once I had tried this on in the store yesterday, I knew I couldn't leave without it. I have been on the search for a basic, cuddly, semi-thick robe for the past year (why do they make so many thin robes? who wears them anyway?), and this was the first one I've found that fits the bill, and actually looks GOOD on me. It was definitely a lot warmer than I expected it to be (warmer than some coats I own). The fabric is your basic sweatshirt material, lined with a white faux-fur. I'm 5'9" and 120lbs, and the xs fit without being snug. (The small was just a little bit larger than I wanted) Cons: There are three type of closure for the robe; an inner tie for the opposite flap, and then a snap which secures the top flap before typing the sash. The snap felt a bit cheap and I can see that it might rip from the fabric in the future. I'm apprehensive about washing it, as the lining fabric feels like the sort to lose its softness after washing. Definitely not worth $98 (made in china), this is nevertheless a much more substantial option than the flimsy t-shirt-material-robes that currently dominate the women's-not-terrycloth-robe-market. Unless you're desperate (like me, ha) wait for a sale.

A prior reviewer mentioned it added 20 lbs, but I found that in my usual size it didn't add much bulk worn with pajamas. Nonetheless, a robe doesn't typically slim-- it is meant for warmth and coziness!
Anyway, I got the polka dot/navy combo. I feel the navy and polka dots could have been a little sharper (the navy is a flat navy, and the polka dots look like they will rub off with wear). Also, the loop meant for hooking it on to something to hang it looks a bit too thin and small to hold up over time given the item's weight.
However, the lining is so soft and the robe is so cozy that it trumped any minor design/quality drawbacks, as the robe itself appears to be sturdily made and I expect the material to hold up with washing. With the extra sale discount I found this to be more than fairly priced as well.
