This dress is flattering on and classy. I liked the pleating in the front. I find it runs true to size. The only hiccup is the zipper. It's the exact same problem as the Red Nipped Brocade Dress. The zipper is very difficult to zip up. I don't mean like 5 minutes difficult... I mean you need another person helping you and it's still a 20 minute struggle. I just don't think a dress at this price should be so hard to get into. I'm returning it.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by vagabunda I thought this would be a classy 'holiday' dress; however, the fit unfortunately did not work on me: the pleat in the front made me look pregnant, and the A-line flare started below my hips, resulting in an unflattering cling on my out-of-shape midsection ;s The dress is of a very good, thick quality, with a cute, lace-trimmed slip. If you are slender, I think this would be very nice...but, for my overweight self, I couldn't make it work. Too bad, back to the drawing board!

I am a curvy petite and love the way this doesn't make my chest look humongous and skims my hips. It's very flattering.
I didn't have any zipper issues as mentioned in other reviews, but do agree with the delicate lace comments. It isn't flimsy, but I am scared to snag it.
Overall, fantastic dress and well worth the purchase. It's very classic/timeless and well-made.
