Rated 5 out of 5 by Fell in Love You hear this a lot in reviews, but I had no intention of buying this dress, especially at full price; however, when I tried it on, it looked so good I couldn't stand to leave without it. I am top heavy-- I wear an 8/10 on bottom, but normally need a 12 in tops/dresses for my bust. The 10 in this dress fit perfectly, so consider sizing down or to fit your middle-- see pictures. Normally I stay away from wrap style tops, since they show so much cleavage line (and on a busty girl that can read wrong). However, this dress drapped nicely over/between my chest, so it hinted at cleavage without displaying it. Also, you could easily add a snap to ensure there are not accidents. The waist is gathered and super flattering, but it finds your smallest part- between this and my large chest pulling the waist up, I found the top a bit blousy, see side image, but I actually liked how this looked- free and floaty. Like other reviewers mentioned, the fabric is lighter so may not work for winter, but it feels silky and nice against my skin. unlined. The cap sleeves and cynched waist are super flattering, the print and pockets fun. October 9, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by While this dress is very thin and I can't imagine wearing it in the colder weather even with tights and a sweater, I was no way going to pass on it. I love the vintage style. The cut is flattering. I usually wear a size 0 (32A-25-34# and the size 2 #which is the smallest) fits well in the waist and hips but is slightly big in the chest. This could easily be adjusted with a couple of stitches at the base of the top. The length falls right above my knee at 5 ft 2 in. As stated already, it is a thin material and will most likely will develop static cling when worn with tights. I may end up saving this for warmer months. September 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty remarkable! I adore almost everything about this dress! Although the material is rather thin, the fit is spot on. I have large hips, and the cut was very flattering. My only gripe is that the wrap-like detail on the bust of the dress opens widely if you have a larger chest. It's a simple fix (just a secret stitch, or a safety pin if you're in a crunch), and the rest of the dress is so flattering that I can definitely get over it! October 10, 2012
