Rated 4 out of 5Â by Lizzybee Pretty seasonal frock
This is a gorgeous frock by Sariah Carson. I was firstly attracted by the gorgeous deep forest green and the pretty brass buttons at the back. However, when I tried it on, although I found the zipper (up to the waist) easy to do myself, I needed help doing up the numerous brass buttons that connect the top back panels. I'm not sure how anyone could do those up independently. Also, I found that the cut slightly obscured my waist, but the nice fit along the hips made up for it. For reference, I'm usually a size M, 5'3'', 130 lbs, and size 8 was too large (they were sold out of 6 at my store).

I am so glad I purchased this dress! I normally stay away from "dry clean only" items but I could not resist this one at the sale price. It definitely looks and feels like an expensive dress, with the bronze back buttons, the colors, and the silky feel. It also has a built in slip which I do not think is mentioned. At least on my computer, the fabric looks olive green, but it is actually darker. Also, having ordered mine online, the draping is messed up a bit, but nothing a few hours on a hanger cannot fix. Fits true to size, although it might be long for some. I'm 5'7 and it hits just above the knee. I will get plenty of use out of this!

This would have been an OK dress if I didn't need an extra set of hands to wear it. The zipper, as others have said, comes up to your waist and then its buttons up to your neck. Didn't really make sense. Since I didn't have an extra set of hands to button it up I couldn't try it on properly in the store, it seemed a bit big though, I'm usually a 2/4 and the 2 was big.
