Ombre Box Dress

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous, amazing dress I got this during the 25% off dress sale a couple months back - and I'm very glad I did! I'm 5'8", 34A and 28 inch waist, and the 4 fit me perfectly. If you aren't a bit flat on top I could see this fitting poorly, but for my body type, I couldn't ask for a nicer dress. I get a million compliments on it whenever I wear it! The colors are even more stunning in person. January 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by So disappointing . . . I just fell in love with this dress the moment it appeared on line, and when I received it in the mail, it didn't disappoint. The dress is exactly as pictured, beautiful colors and light and flowy fabric. I am 5ft8, 112 lbs and a 34a and ordered sizes 0 and 2. (Normally I can always fit in a size 0 at Anthro). Size 0 could not zip up at all, although the dress fitted perfectly in the waist. The size 2 I was able to zip up, but my chest was completely squashed in to the dress. Now that I look closer at the pictures, I can see the same happening with the model. Yes I could order a size 4, which hopefully would have more room on top, but then it would be too wide in the waist. But what really stopped me from ordering the next size up, is the zipper. It is terrible. Very bad quality, and it kept getting stuck while trying to unzip my dress. So disappointed in this dress, because it is beautiful when you hold it in your hands. Only good for those who are completely flat chested unfortunately. November 21, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Runs Small I'm always a 0 in Anthro (5'1, 110) and this dress is really tiny - especially up top. It was too tight so I ordered a 2 and am really hoping it will work out because it is a gorgeous dress - very unique style, color and fabric. I'm a 32B and hoping the 2 will work but if you're blessed with big girls, this one might not be for you! November 27, 2012

Jessie Finkelstein and Kate King, the creative partnership behind JF & Son, have a knack for creating color-drenched designs - their past as a textile design consultancy may have a little something to do with that. Since launching their apparel brand in 2009, they have focused on artist collaborations and exclusive collections, though they have recently shuttered their Lower East Side storefront to focus on a design residency at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. This silken, paneled ombre tank dress is as vivid as they come, and offers a new take on colorblocking.
