I love the look of this blouse, so chic and Channel. And, I was dying for it... until, I tried it on. The seams where the sleeves join the bodice are uncomfortable, pulling from side to side, creating a strange indentation over the bust line. The collar does not roll to show the contrasting fabric as photographed and the tie flops rather than fans out, as it does in the photo. Love the concept ... not the execution.

I absolutely loved this blouse on the hanger, but it did not look good on. It has a beautiful 40s look and I really like the off white and black polka dot fabric. The material is substantial and the bouse well made, but the design is odd around the shoulders and bow. It has an unusual gathering of fabric from the bow to the shoulders that is unflattering, and makes the bow look lobsided and sloppy. The bow is stationary and does not come untied. The blouse has a zipper in the back and the buttons in front are for looks or perhaps to unbutton at the bottom as shown on the model. I liked the banded bottom and would have worn it with the buttons buttoned. If this blouse had been the least bit flattering it would have been mine as I still love it on the hanger but NOT on me. I am 5'2" 135 lbs. and tried a 4 and 6 in this. I usually wear a 4 but the 6 was better as the 4 pulled across the bust and under the arms.

Was lucky enough to find one of these blouses in my size returned in store as I've been coveting it from a far online. While I think the quality is consistent with Anthro items, the blouse seems to be made for short waisted women as the length (from shoulder to bottom)seems quite short. I'm 5'7" and the banded waist ends up above my bellybutton. Also, last two front buttons will not stay buttoned. After about four attempts to button it, I understood why the model in the photo has them open.
