Rated 5 out of 5 by The most impressive details of this dress are its perforated fabric and floral patten. These are beautiful colors, blending into each other and still popping when accentuated with accessories. Endless color possibilities too. Perforated cotton/polyester blend is surprisingly soft and breathable, allowing me to wear this in my tropical climate with ease. Overall quality is very nice. Chest area is a little bit snug though, so might not be a great fit for generously endowed. Sizing up won't be a bad idea since the dress is pretty short and fit-and flare style. Waist hits a little bit above its regular spot as well. I'm 5'7', 130lbs, 34D and got my usual 6. I'm pleased with this the way it is. I don't mind the length and tightness in the chest area. So much ore than pictured online! January 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cute dress but tight chest This is a very nice dress. I love the fabric and the colors. I ordered a 2 since I am usually a 0 or a 2, but the 2 fit fine everywhere but the chest. A bigger size would have been too big everywhere else. It is also a very short dress. I am 5'4" 128lbs and 32D and the dress was very short on me. I returned it. November 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better than expected I'm usually a big believer in the mantra, "you get what you pay for", but this little number might be one of the exceptions that makes the rule. First, the basics; I'm 5'7", 126lbs, 34-26-34, with a fairly straight build. As with the Marigold Blush dress of this designer, I ordered the 4 (my usual size) and the 6. I didn't even take the 4 out of the bag because I was happy "enough" with the 6. I don't think any one would be surprised by the length of this dress once on because it's pretty clear from the picture. At my height it fell a good 3+ inches above the top of my knees. What was surprising, and noted by the other reviewers, is the tightness of the chest. I'm a 34B and even with a pad-less bra the buttons pulled and gapped a bit. The reason why I'm keeping the dress is the lovely and original design and texture. You really can't tell how unique this is until you see it in person. The waist is very flattering, the the "flounce" of the skirt is just right, without risking a Marilyn Monroe effect on a windy day. If it were a tad longer, or at least just above the knee, I wouldn't hesitate wearing it to work, but it seems a bit "young" at the current length. I'd consider wearing this on vacation, on a summer weekend, out to dinner with the family and friends. Just nothing too formal or too serious. Again, I really like the fabric and cut; I'll just have to wear it with a bra that slightly compresses my already small-ish upper body build. I suspect that because of this issue and also the off-sizing, you'll be seeing quite a few of these back at your local Anthro. Do yourself a favor and if you can find it in a size (or two!) larger than what you are used to wearing, try it on. I think you'll be pleased, particularly at a sales price that is 3.5% of the original price (!!!!!). March 6, 2013
