Stitched Kantha Chair

Rated 3 out of 5 by Pretty but overpriced I bought this chair at my local Anthro, marked down to $200 because of three tears in the fabric. I feel $200 is a fair price for this chair -- no more. The fabric is thin and definitely not intended for upholstery. The stitching is coming unraveled. The chair itself is incredibly lightweight, suggesting a cheap frame. The comfort level is OK, but it's not that cushy. So far, it's making my living room look happy and I'm enjoying it, but I don't expect it to last very long. June 3, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Cheap fabric This chair caught my attention at the local Anthro store. The chair is definitely attractive and comfortable to sit in but the fabric is really thin. I could see the foam through the fabric. The stitches were coming off. The fabric is clearly not meant to be used on a chair/sofa and will not last long. Not something you would expect from a $1000 purchase. April 17, 2014
