by RoxyH The polyester ruined it
I am baffled as to why they chose to make this dress in stretch polyester fabric. Imitation silk poly would have been okay, maybe, but this is the worst kind of slinky, stretchy, bouncy polyester that is bound to snag on something eventually. I tried on an XS and I'm 5'2", 31-26-33, 108lbs. It was too long and I'd definitely need an XSP. Had this dress been made in cotton it probably would have been a total winner, but I just can't get past the poly. I couldn't get it off fast enough. Sadly a pass for me, even when it hits sale.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by simplieSWELL Lovely style, disappointing fabric
This dress is a great shape and has a flattering fit. The design on the fabric has a bohemian feel but the color is more orange than it looks in the picture. It looks great with a cardigan, blazer, or chambray shirt. I tried it with yellow, teal and green accessories and all looked great so this dress seems like it would be versatile. The downside to this dress (and the reason for three stars instead of 4) is the material. It is thin and very slinky/spandexy. Think swimsuit material. I was expecting something a little heavier weight with stretch in it for the price. The only lining under the skirt is the tulle.
The upside to this dress is that it has a good amount of stretch. I am 5'3", 130lbs, 34A bust, with a 29-30 in waist. The dress falls just below the knee which is one reason I ordered it. I ordered the medium to fit my waist and it is too big in the top. The side boning helps keep the top up but it is too loose to wear strapless (if I raise my arms, I come out of it). Because the waist is elasticized and the fabric is stretchy, a small would probably work for me. I will exchange for the smaller size despite the disappointing fabric because I love the color, style, length and versatility of this dress.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Smurf106 Beautiful color but incorrect into
I would agree with the previous review on this dress. The material IS straight up bathing suit and it is a bit big. For reference, I'm a size 14/16 size 38D bust and the XL fit well. The dress DOES go very high up to completely cover the bust, but as the material is just slink and no shape in the bust, it really enhances that area. However, I did feel secure walking around the house and bending over. That being said, one of the main reasons I purchased this dress over others is because it is advertised as having adjustable straps. This is not correct. No straps came with the dress and I scoured the top looking for where any misplaced straps would hook in and there's nothing. Overall, the colors ARE lovely and you could create some beautiful fall ensembles - but the straps are still a necessity for me so it's getting returned.
