Rated 5 out of 5 by I fell in love with these boots the moment I saw them in the store. The taupe is the most beautiful shade, just as pictured online. The brass heel is on trend but with the classic cut I think this boot will last for years. In terms of sizing, I usually wear a size 7 shoe but a 7.5 in boots. Unfortunately these don't come in half-sizes - I found the 7 a bit snug for my wide feet but the 8 was slightly large everywhere else. I believe these fit TTS and being leather, they may stretch a bit. The shaft is both narrow and tall. I have a relatively thin calf and often find boots to be baggy up top, but these fit perfectly with enough room for jeans (though I do sympathize with those with wider calves, as these may not work for you). However, I am only 5'2" and found the shaft height just a bit too tall, as it hits just at my knee when I sit down. I have convinced myself that this height still works but just barely - I imagine it will look great on taller ladies! October 29, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful narrow-calf boot! Tried these on in-store today. They are amazing for long, thin legs! I always have a hard time with boots looking like galoshes on, and although these are a little wide at the top on me, I was astonished at how well they fit. For reference, I wear a 10/41 in flats (usually a 9-9.5 in boots, but needed the 41 here), and have 13.5" calves. In these, I would've had enough room for leggings, but maybe not skinny jeans. Furthermore, they are TALL -- hit me just under my kneecap, and arch-to-kneecap on me is about 17". The heel is a very comfortable, wearable height. While I didn't like the gold heel with the taupe boot - it was VERY GOLD - I was intrigued by the pewter/black combination. Ultimately, with the shiny heel, they weren't classic enough for me to buy them at regular price... but I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for sales. November 18, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Heels Chipped off on First Wear I both these shoes on sale 2 weeks ago. Today I wore them for the first time. I just noticed that the heel is already has chipped off while walking to work. I don't know what hit the heel maybe a staircase edge or door edge. But there is a huge chip white the white underneath showing through and I barely wore it for 3 hours this morning. So before you buy you might want to consider if you want to use it for daily wear or occasional wear. The metallic shiny thing on the heel is not durable for sure. January 10, 2013
