Seared Lame Dress

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by So disappointing I SO wanted to love this little dress. I love the colors and the overall style. However, it looks very cheap in person, not at all like a $350 dress by a well known designer. It looks like something you'd find at a discount retailer for about $50. The fabric doesn't look anything like silk or screened silk- it looks and handles like rayon. The cut is also off- on me it looked like a too-tight shift dress, not at all like the baby doll style pictured. I can only assume the model is wearing about a size 8 or 10 to achieve that much drape. To add insult to injury, it arrived all wadded up in a mailing envelope. The wrinkles didn't help it's appearance. Very sad. August 20, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by beautiful This designer usually runs a little small for me,but this time it was slightly big.I think the fabric is stunning a little decadent looking. My profession is to the trade fabrics and this looks like one of my high end designer fabrics. The drape is forgiving if you are like me and have a few bulges that you are not interested in revealing.I usually take a size 12,I have broad shoulders 36c chest, narrow hips. I purchased the gold Miss Albright kitten heals that just so happen to be on sale to go with this and its gorgeous together.I am glad I took the chance,I was looking for an out of the ordinary evening/cocktail dress.Love it. Rated 3 out of 5 by Fabric Itch my skin really bad... Tried on this dress in store size 12. Fits perfectly fine. It drapes greatly on my boyish body. 36C, 160lbs. 5'8 tall with broad shoulder. The color is orange-Red and it is has Gold in some part. It is great for Chinese New Year. But my skin cant' stand the rough surface of the fabric. So sad, I have to put it back... Anna Sui usually makes great dress, but this one is totally waaayyy off with the fabric... Sorry.. September 9, 2012
