Rated 3 out of 5 by Wanted to love, but they didn' love me back! I was attracted to these at full price, but the price was too high. They reminded me of retro patch jeans and looked different and fun. When they went on sale, I gave them a try. First thing I noticed was how thin the material is. As the description says (despite what I anticipated) they are not made of denim/jean material, they are made of denim colored cotton shirt material. They appear well made. Despite this, I liked how they look. The material is bright and cheerful. However, they won't work, b/c they are very narrow in the waist. I could barely pull the front together, and zipping them closed was impossible. If you are straight and narrow, maybe they will work for you. I wear a 10-12 and the large was too small. Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice. I ordered these pants when they went on sale. I am 5'6 and 132 lbs, usually a 6 in Anthro pants. I got the medium. They fit me like they were made for me! I can see some problems with sizing for other body types with the S,M & L. They are high waisted which I like. If I had bigger hips they would not have worked in the medium. The materiel is soft cotton, nice summer light weight (will get more use in Southern Ca). The fit is what made me keep these. I laughed at the other review, I kind of thought the same thing about the patchwork being a retro look that may not need to be revisited! But the quality is nice, material soft and the fit for me is perfect, very flattering. In general I think these run a tad on the small side. September 22, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Loved the style but not the quality These were very cute - and seemingly fit perfect. I like the idea of the high waised pant coming back and have lots of cute shitrs to compliment these; but alas I have become spoiled with all the new fabrics that have a little stretch to them. There is no give to these at all. If I stand straight and tall they fit good. Look good. Not too tight - sexy. But If I am having a bloated day - or need to squat down to pick something up or talk to a small child - I would be afraid - with all the patchwork seams, that these would split wide open. One size up looks baggy. So they are going back. If they would have added even the slighest amount of stretch in the cotton fabric - they would be a keeper. September 23, 2012
