Rated 4 out of 5Â by BarbnearChicago Great transitional jacket but delicate
This jacket fits TTS; it is a great transitional item with 3/4 sleeves that are perfect for early fall layering. Beautiful fit; the subdued peplum is very figure flattering.
This is a very delicate item however. Several in the store had snags in the knit and some had lost "balls" on the sleeve edge; you can even see a missing ball on the close-up shot here in the product description.
If you are going to buy in the store, check your jacket carefully for snags and missing sleeve "balls."

I am one of Anthro's larger customers, 14/16/XL. This jacket only goes up to size Large, which was initially a problem since it was tight when buttoned. However, the SA brought me a burgundy stretch belt and wow! Apparently one present trend is belting an open jacket/blazer/cardigan, the SA showed me some pics of models wearing belted unbuttoned jackets, so hey, 'problem solved, I'm thrilled. If you try this you just have to position the belt directly above where the peplum starts to look its best.
I love that the peplum showcases your curves, or may even give you more of an illusion of curves if your torso is leaner. Also, the fabric is very comfortable and while substantial in weight it isn't overly heavy, so you can wear it all day.
As other reviews have noted, the down sides to this jacket are that the "balls" on the trim are often missing, as was on the jacket I purchased. I'm going to snip a couple balls and relocate them so that they aren't as obvious. 'Easy fix. Also, this jacket does snag, so I would be careful with ring prongs.
I recommend a sleeker bottom to wear with this shapely blazer, such as a pencil skirt, skinny pants or even a fitted shift dress would work well.

I normally have a hard time finding a blazer fit due to my small bust (32A), but in this case, I could barely button the waist. The peplum seam is rigid and non-stretchy, and since I have a thick-waisted body type, I can't size up from my usual XS because everything else would be too large (in fact, the bust was already a bit large). The sleeves were also a bit wide, although the "chandelier" border is adorable and the blazer seemed very well-made. Hopefully you curvy gals will have better luck!
