This blouse is so beautiful in real life. It is a stunning deep plum shade and it is made of good quality fabric with pretty cut-out details. Unless you want to show a lot of skin, you're going to have to layer it over a camisole. It is unlined. I am 5'6" and 100 lbs and the XS was GI-NORMOUS on me. I don't think belting it would help, sadly -- it's not long enough and in any event, the sleeves hung off of me like batwings. The top just did nothing to give me any semblance of shape (which is what I want my clothes to do -- create an illusion of curves!). Purple is my favorite color and I am a tree-hugging hippie deep in my heart, but I passed on this. Give it a try if you see it -- hopefully it will fit you better. It is really lovely.

Thiis top is very flattering-it is cut straight so it doesn't look like a maternity top like so many of the other peasant tops out there. The color is also a beautiful deep plum, it runs true to size, and I tried it on with white capris, which looked great. I think grey jeans and light denim jeans would also look beautiful with this top. The sleeves are also very unique, they are longer in the back and remind me of sleeves from the renaissance era.

The contrast you see is skin -- so if you are young, tan and in great shape this is a great shirt for you -- but alas for the rest of us mere mortals, all those cutouts may be an issue. A tank or cami would definitely solve the problem but not crazy about the idea of having to add another piece to a $128 top. Sorry, this one is going back.
