 by ShanC A surprise!
A friend asked me to try this one on and i did not expect to like it as much as i do! I am usually a size 6-8 with 36B-29"-37" measurements and I tried on a size S (as shown in the pictures). I could've also gone with a size M for a looser fit but I'm already smitten with this size because this one really compliments my figure and shows my curves (boobs? where did you come from?) while hiding any lumps and bumps. I'm also 5'6 and the length comes down to my knees.
The material is thin but i didn't have a problem with it being see through actually..(had on black undergarments while trying it on and did not show through the dress). it is also soft which feels comfortable against the skin while providing stretch. I did have trouble adjusting the waist ruching to get it to lay properly prior to seeing it on the model shots so i just left it as is. Between the unique neckline and the print, you'll definitely stand out in this dress!
Also, not sure if anyone else noticed but the print on the bodice seem to be different from the model shots and from the one showcased in the catalogue (or 4th picture). the leaves extends up to the neck in the catalogue picture but the ones that are being offered in stores do not have that.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Kollie Awesome Dress!
Quintessential to Anthro, this dress looks SO much cooler on than in the picture or on the hanger. It fits true to size (I'm a M in tops and 8 on bottoms# and is quite flattering, and the colors are richer in person. The dress isn't as clingy as the material may suggest, though you can go up a size depending on the look you're going for, and it looks just a good with flats or heels. The only thing to be mindful of is that you can't wear a regular bra b/c it show under the asymettrical bit (you'll need to wear a strapless or bandeau bra). Looking forward to wearing this in the Fall!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by NatashaT I couldn't resist this dress, as a redhead, the colors were far too complimentary to pass up. Some reviewers mentioned that the material is thin, this is true, I noticed that when I stretch my arms forward, it becomes a bit sheer and you can see my undergarments. A simple slip fixed that problem and it's appropriate for the outside world. As to the comments about it fitting on only thin models - I say it's the opposite. At 5'6", size 8, with an extreme hour glass, I'd say this dress looks (unbelievably, I've never thought this before) better on me than on the model, for reals. Maybe they should try out models with hips every once and a while? The thin fabric doesn't hide areas of jiggle, but the slip fixes that up too. It's priced higher than the quality of fabric, the price is for the design (and anthro markup).
