My husband bought me this dress and I didn't think it would look good on my body because of where the cinched waist falls - in between chest and waist (which with an hourglass figure, isn't really the area you want to accentuate). With the addition of a skinny belt and a pair of wedges, I fell in love! I usually wear a medium or large in Anthro clothes. My husband ordered the medium and it fit perfect! NOTE: THE TOP PORTION OF THE DRESS IS SEE-THROUGH! Be prepared to wear a racerback tank underneath. The dress is absolutely stunning and perfect for summer nights because of its lightweight fabric. I'm 5'8" and the front of the dress fell approximately 4-5 inches above the knee, the back about mid calf. I love this dress but I could see the cinched part not falling on the right place for everyone.

I am average height -5'6", but I found this dress was shorter than I wanted it to be in the front, where the hem is higher. Nice overall design, and pretty fabric, but not right on me with the shorter look.

I am so, so attracted to the pattern and fabric of this dress! It reminds me of Japanese cherry blossoms, but in blue, and it feels like sheer, flowy silk. I wish Anthro made this in petite. I'm 5' 2" / 110 lbs / normal-length torso for my height. I fit into most size 0 dresses, even though I suspect that petite sizes (not available in stores, sadness) may fit me better. The straps/top were too long for me, so both the back and front waist area were all bunched up. Alas, I had to leave this size 0 dress in the fitting room. In summary, I think you have to be at least 5' 6" to sport this lovely piece, or have a longish torso if you're shorter.
