Rated 5 out of 5 by A near perfect Dress. I waited for this dress to go on sale - there didn't seem to be a lot of people buying it. Now that I have the dress and have worn it, I wonder why more people didn't grab it up in the first place! The design has a vintage/classic look to it. The silk is extremely soft and the hand painted wings are unique and beautiful - helping to make it more than just a beautifully designed silk dress. This dress is on the thinner side and I would recommend it more for a spring/summer dress. This is not for winter wear! The upper top portion of this dress is lined. The skirt is not lined - which does disappoint somewhat. Because of the nature of the fabric of this dress, it barely has any form to it intrinsically - it hangs with your natural body curves. If you have beautiful curves, this dress will look fabulous on you. The designer used her natural talents to create structure by way of her stitching, tucking, and pleating choices. She creates edges in the bust and waist line by pleating and tucking in, forming out, and stitching this dress in exactly the correct placements - giving it a vintage, tailored feel while still capturing the modern free-style form by choosing a fabric that elicits a natural flowing body, grace and an elegant style. The color is a pearlescent gray - so lovely. The collar is thick and frames the face nicely. This dress works well with or without a belt. Try a belt if you have a very lovely tiny waist, which will add even more structure to the dress. I recommend this dress for curvy or hourglass figured ladies especially, but think it would look well on most figures. Women with very large chests might not do as well with the top on this dress as the pin tucking is very form fitted - but you may want to try it on first either way to see for yourself. For reference: I'm 5'5", 120 lbs. with measurements: 34,25, 36 - I purchased this in a size 2. January 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dream Dress I was hesitant to order this dress as there were so few reviews, but I decided to take the plunge. I am soo glad I did, when I took it out of the box, I was floored how beautiful this dress truly is. The fit is perfect. I took my usual size 2 and it was very comfortable. The waist is at the natural waist, and it hits right above the knee, (I am 5'5") The dress is a subtle showstopper. Its gorgeous on it's own, but if you add a cardi, it makes it more casual, and looks so sweet with the collar. You really cannot go wrong with this dress! It's very very special and tremendously flattering. January 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome This dress was order for my gradation on May 8th 2013. It's beautifully crated from top to bottom, the material is superbly light no lining is needed for the bottom it flows so gentle. It was sad to see that the belt in the picture did not come with it. What makes it even better is that the cut accommodates my 34DD bust with elegance. Not to mention my hour glass figure makes me feel like I have step back in a time machine. Ladies do not be afraid to buy this because of having a big chest, you will look marvelous in it. I ordered in my regular size 10 since it is design to accentuate your curves. February 17, 2013

GREY MOTIF Style #:25421629 A Made In Kind design.

Yearning to design for the daydreamers and wanderers among us, Alexandra Grecco founded her eponymous line in 2010. This Anthropologie-exclusive collection was inspired by a weekend trip during which she was immersed in nature. Inspired by its every facet, from a found cicada wing to fields of pale green grass to a sky full of stars, Grecco channeled the sights and experiences into the beautiful clothing you see here. This weightless silk circle-skirt frock is handpainted with a flurry of cicada wings.
