by JustErin Cute - but Quality Issues
I really need some new comfy black flats - and thought these could be perfect. They're really cute - but I'm concerned about the quality and comfort. The stones look like they've been super glued on and the shoe has some give to it - so I'm concerned even a day of walking around in them - could result in the stones falling off where the shoe bends. They also felt like they pinched just a bit at the ball of the foot -so, I'm not entirely convinced they're the comfy shoes I'm looking for.
Fit: I am normally a size 8.5/9 - I ordered these in the 9 and they are the correct length. If you are in between sizes I'd recommend sizing up.
For now I am on the fence.

The design of this shoe is beautiful and I love that it's flat because I can't wear heels. The construction, however, is really shoddy. The embellishment is coming off already and the holes in the strap are crooked and not placed in the same way on each shoe.

Fits pretty true-to-size, but if you are on the borderline, order a half size up. I typically wear an 8, but sometimes a 7.5 or even (rarely) an 8.5. I ordered the 8, and probably could not wear the 8.5, but close. Not super comfy (as most shoes at Anthro are not) but not bad either. Toes are cramped (typical for this style) & I have a narrow-med. foot. Women with med-wide feet should not buy these - you will be disappointed. Looks just as pictured - kind of vintage, kind of Middle Eastern - but there are a couple of details that you can't tell from the photos. First, these shoes appear to have an adjustable strap, but strap only has one workable hole. You could add one, though, if you have a tiny puncher. The buckle is gold, but the beads are silvery. I don't mind this, but some of you might. The beads are on a plastic strip which is sewn to the shoe & is a bit sloppy. The bead strip isn't sewn evenly from the edge all along the shoe - not noticeable, though, unless you look closely. Shoes are a bit stiff & am hoping that they loosen up around the toes. I have been wearing them around the house for about an hour & think that they already have, a little. Don't expect much, though, since the bead strip won't allow for much give. I don't think that the quality justifies the asking price (should be about half to two-thirds) but I did take advantage of the free shipping offer. Also, I think they would look better w/a kitten heel, but a great dressy, flat shoe for those of us who like little or no heel. I will keep them.
