Rated 5 out of 5 by Versatile, Charming, & Classic I love this sweater, even though it hurt a bit at the register, I am still so happy with my purchase. I wouldn't call the sweater grey like they do in the description. It is really more of a pale cream base with light grey and lighter off-white threads as well. The color is very accurate in the last photo (probably a catalog shot with the polka-dot pants). The first 4 photos are very inaccurate, the lighting must have washed out/bleached the sweater because it is not a white sweater. The label says it is 69% wool, 21% polyester, 4% cashmere and is hand washable (yea!). I think the polyester and cashmere are just the trim part as the rest of the sweater is a very delicate, thin, VERY finely woven wool. I love the butterfly in the center of the sweater. I am usually a small or medium in most anthro tops but I went with the large because I really wanted to play-up the dolman sleeves, & slouchiness effect of the top part of the sweater. I debated between the medium and large. The medium was a bit more fitted through the waist & a tad shorter. Because I am tall, I always like having a bit of extra length. By sizing up, I think I will have more options with this sweater-mainly wearing it off the shoulder. Also, it is so sheer that even though it has the large dolman sleeves, you won't look big in it because you will be able to see your silhouette. My only complaint with the last photo is that is looks like she has no cami underneath, the sweater is way too sheer to go without and I'm a girl that doesn't mind my bra showing a bit every once in a while. I plan on wearing it with skirts, dressed down with jeans, and also some print mixing like they show in the photo. I also plan on wearing some really bright cami's underneath to highlight the unique sheer cut-out's. I can't believe this is so long but I love this sweater and felt the first photos were inaccurate so I wanted to be extra careful of my description. One last thing, if you like this sweater, do yourself a favor and do NOT wait for it to go on sale. It is so delicate that I imagine it would be FULL of runs from trying on a bunch and heaven forbid if it got anywhere near a hanger. I don't thing it will be an issue wearing, just be careful when dressing and no dangly rings or bracelets. September 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Freaking amazing I have been stalking the website to post a love note about this sweater. This is the sweater you wear that makes all your friends gasp when you show it to them. The detail from the stitching in the front to the beadwork is just TO DIE FOR and reminiscent of things Anthro used to have years ago. It's also super soft to the touch (cashmere and wool) and light, but not so much so you're terrified it will rip at every move you make. It's a teeeeny bit baggy, so while I usually wear a medium, I opted for a small. It's sheer enough that I wear a skin-toned cami under. The price is steep, but I promise you will never regret it. I wear it with jeans on casual days and paired with skirts and heels to the office. I honestly cannot think of a sweater I've bought in recent memory that has been so worth the price or so loved as this one. September 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazingly beautiful... I am in love with this sweater. First of all I am 5'0 and very petite on top ( no bust to speak of# and took the XS. It fits me very much like the model online except the sleeves are longer on me. Usually with sweaters like this one being a so fine a material, women with short arm lengths can get away with it by just having it scrunched up. It is soft and very comfortable ( I do not find it itchy). I bought this with a gift certificate I received for my birthday so it took the bite out of the price.... however, even if I didnt have the gift card I would have purchased it. It looks lovely with either jeans, a black skirt or black pants. I am excited to wear it with my Chie mihara Tindra shoes that my husband gave me for my birthday). The colors are true to the picture and is an off white with black and grey tones in the detailing. October 15, 2012
