Rated 4 out of 5 by LOOKS CASUAL, BUT IT's COMPLICATED! This top is deceptive. It looks casual and relaxed, but not really. First of all, there is this ribbon that runs across it that gets in the way. As a few others have done, I cut mine off. It might be there for hanging purposes? I found no purpose for it as far as styling. I hang on velvet hangers so nothing slips anyway. If this ribbon is for styling or something else, I couldn't figure it out. However....secondly on the INSIDE LEFT shoulder/arm area is a tab. If you put your arm through that when putting on the sleeve, this creates the corner fold-over pull that is shown in the photo. If you DO NOT put this through your arm, the neckline is more scooped and drapey. I'm busty and bought an XL and the fit is just as shown. It drapes, but isn't too billowy. The sleeves are form-fitting. The length can be pulled down or scrunched up. The fabric is thin and this is great for layering in colder temps. Sorry this is a long review but I wanted to explain about the ribbons and inner tabs. October 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by comfortable, interesting to look at, hides flaws The fabric is lightweight and soft. The gathering at the neckline is very interesting and makes a casual top seem special. You could wear this with jeans and flats or with dress pants and a great pair of earrings to make it more business casual or movie date. I tried two sizes and chose the smaller size because I wanted it to be more fitted across the bust (I don't need more volume there) it fit a bit tighter around the arms in the smaller size, but I think that balances the extra fabric in the shirt and makes it look more stylish and less casual. There is enough volume at the waist to hide a little bit of "muffin top". The band at the bottom of the shirt isn't noticeable at all on me like it is is the photo. Overall, I like the shirt, it's a great addition to the "casual but stylish" segment of my wardrobe. September 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Drapey Perfection My measurements are 32C a full C cup. 34 x 26 x 36 and 5' 4" This top is drapey perfection. I purchased the XS and the S and definitely like the fit of the XS much better.. I found the drape to be more suited to my curves, w/o being too clingy, just a lovely drape. The S I found way too loose and baggy, a considerable and noticeable difference. Even the sleeves were baggy which I did not like. An important note: DON'T cut the ribbon that cuts across the neckline, it's there for a reason. I made the mistake of cutting it myself and the neckline opened right up. Trust me! I sewed mine back on and then ordered another one in the brown, so I own both colors. It's a phenomenal top. I especially love the long skinny sleeves. If you have exceptionally thick arms, you may find the sleeves to be tight, maybe size up? The length on my body falls just at my belt which I also love. The band at the bottom does not allow for it to pull over the waist of my pants, however, the small did allow for a more accommodating fit it that area, but as it was not my preference, I stuck w the XS. The fabric is dreamy, silky soft, and wears well, the colors are unusual and brilliant. I have a tan complexion, with green eyes and black hair, the blue is spectacular with my coloring, and the shade of brown is no less so. I really love this shirt and it's well worth full price! I don't normally buy 2 of any shirt, but this is the exception. Highly recommend! August 31, 2012
