Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what I needed I have not yet had a pair of heels that would better reflect my style--simple and classy but also feminine. I wore these to the opera last weekend along with a black column dress and I got quite a few complements. I think the wine color goes really well with black. As far as the fit goes, they get quite narrow in the toes, which is why my typical size 40 felt far too tight to tolerate, so I exchanged for a bigger size. 41 feels a bit loose, both in width and length, but between the two sizes this was the better fit. 40.5 would have been perfect. Because of the sizing/ fit this will be an evening pair for me, but I can't see why these should not be for every-day wear if they fit you a little better than me. Will consider getting them in black. September 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I'm always on the lookout for kitten heels. I broke my ankle couple years back, and now I can't wear any high heels. The online reviews stopped me from purchasing this item because I'm 7.5 wide. But last Sunday I tried on the very last pair at my local store (size 39). And... it's soo comfy. I made sure I walk around in it for a bit, and it's still comfortable. So I had to have it. :) January 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous shoes! The crimson suede is like velvet! Best quality suede I've ever seen. Brass heel is brushed and looks expensive. Great quality shoe. Sole is slip proof and offers some cushion for walking. Very comfortable. The cut of the shoe covers toe cleavage, not too low, and is very attractive on the foot. The rose gold partial lining seems to be synthetic leather (hate) which can make feet sweaty and stinky. I'll add a forefoot thin leather insert to avoid sweaty foot. The insole is pretty well padded surprisingly. This shoe exceeded my expectations when I saw them in person. I'll wear them with the B&W lace slim crop pants and the black lace top as pictured in the catalog. Killer outfit ! I actually bought J Crew red patent pointy ballet flats to wear with the outfit since they were "redder" but when I saw these kitten heels in person, I decided that these actually look better with the outfit than the red patent flats. The color is like a berry-crimson wine color. Delicious! I wear 9M and required this shoe in size 40. Forefoot will stretch and become more comfortable after e few wears. I LOVE these!
