I adore this skirt. The neutral olive seemed to pair well with many tops I tried on (cream, orange, blue, etc.). I can see this skirt with flats, heels, booties or tights and boots. So many options and a great fall color palette!
I am fairly straight shaped, no hips. This skirt is cut for those with a little more curve in my opinion. I am surprised some people thought it ran small; I found my usual 6 to fit great in the waist, if not a little generous. There was just too much fabric in the hips and like another reviewer mentioned, the fabric doesn't fall away from the body. It is a bit stiff. I found it worked better when the top was tucked in. Still, I had to be honest with myself and as much as I love everything about this skirt I didn't love the way it fit my body so I left without it.
It seems very well made, the fabric is substantial and again the colors lend themselves to a multitude of styling options.

This is a pricey piece but I think that I will wear it a lot. It is unusual with random pattern and colours of embroidery over the damask fabric. I can see styling this Bohemian for fun or classic for work. The many colours and semi-neutral nature of the olive drab fabric makes it a neutral with some punch. It is a unique style sure to draw compliments--or at least comments when people try to figure out the embroidery hieroglyphics..
One note, I usually swim in a size 0 and this one was really snug so I had to go up to a size 2. This is pretty shocking when you have a 22-23 inch waist.

I found this skirt, folded and tucked under the backside of a display counter, on the bottom shelf, as sometimes happens with Anthro. Part of the fun is the hunt into all corners of the store. I had completely missed this piece online, as the actual article is far more attractive in person. It is very versatile and I wound up purchasing three tops to wear with it....moving it between casual and work. On the sizing, I am currently 5 pounds over my standard weight ...the 2 looked fine with the tops but was too tight without them. So I bought the 2 and the 4 and the keeper will be whichever fits best on the first fall-like day here in warm NC. Love the Anthro return policy.
