by asta17 I love the look of this sweater. I was dying to try on the pink but my local store has only had the ivory color, which is very nice but I already own several sweaters in this shade. The metallic threads are subtle and don't cheapen the look. I would say the fit is TTS or maybe runs slightly small - I'm often sized out of sweaters like this and the fit was nearly perfect on my small frame (5'1, 32A, 105 lbs), though the cowl was perhaps a tad too much for me. The sleeves are a close fit, and the sweater skims the body nicely. I absolutely love the scalloped hem. The knit does have holes in it so it would require wearing something underneath in the coldest weather. It's a tad itchy but not too bad. I do think it's a bit overpriced, so I will stalk this for sale in the pink color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MissTMarie I was really excited to see this in the store so I could try it on. I was not as impressed as I hoped I would be. For starters it was on a hanger in the store which stretches out the sweater before you even buy it. So yes the sweater was stretched in the shoulders and this highlighted how easily it will be likely to stretch elsewhere. I just felt like I would wear it a few times and it wouldn't keep its shape in the middle, and it would stretch out all over, as well as pill. I also found the collar around the neck to be a bit overwhelming on. It just seemed like a lot of material. A pass for me, even at sale. I tried on my usual size xs and fit wise it was fine.

I ordered the ivory which has a hint of gold thread, very subtle, and a bit of tan also. Fits TTS. Because of the knitting pattern a camisole will need to be worn underneath. The sweater only has 8% wool so it is very soft, warm, and not itchy in the least. I could not do the collar like the picture of the pink version. Did not want to stretch out. Because of the shape it could make you a little "hippier" than usual. But it is darling. Looks great with skinnies, straight, or bootcut pants. I am 5'6 and will probably wear with boots or heels so that my legs are lengthened to play against the scallop at the hip. Very well made.
