Neutral Capitular Bra

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty bralette, but not worth full price My rating is based on what I did pay for this item, which was about $20. For that price, I thought this was a very worthwhile purchase and absolutely love it. This bra will not suffice for anyone who needs actual support, since there is none. The fabric is quite thin and unlined. The straps are wide and comfortable but don't really provide much lift. Fortunately I wasn't looking for a supportive/lifting bra, just something nice to layer under clothes. This bra is just that. It's very comfortable, and doesn't show seams or anything under my shirts/dresses. I do wish it came up a little higher on my chest so I could let it peak out from under lower cut tops, but it's a little too low for that. I still feel like I need to layer a tee or something for coverage. I love that it's mostly made of cotton rather than synthetic material; great colors and design details, too. Considering the original price, I'm surprised it isn't lined, and wish it was made in the US and not China. Like I said, for the $20 sale price I paid, this was well worth it, but I would have been very disappointed if I'd paid the full price. For what it's worth, I'm neither tan nor tight and I think this looks awesome on my curvy, pale frame :) Size L fit perfectly on me and I think my band size is about 36/38, cup size B-ish. Rated 1 out of 5 by young and tan only I'm a B-C cup 40 year old white lady, and I intended for this item to replace my addiction to sports bras. I'm sorry to say it did not. It doesn't have the heft of a sports bra. The ribbon straps, while lovely, do not do any true lifting. The colors looked a bit too fleshy on my pinky white middle-aged skin, too. Tan and tight ladies may find this just the thing! I wish it had worked out... December 30, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not worth it I bought this bra and found that the shoulder straps keep coming down and dont stay in place which is frustrating. I hardly ever wear it and when I do, I remember why I dont. September 18, 2013

The sportier, more lighthearted sister of Bartlett's VPL label, this collection focuses on flattering the form with utilitarian, comfortable cuts and beautiful prints that can be mixed, matched and layered. Here, sinuous streaking brightens a grosgrain-trimmed stretch-cotton bralette and matching hipsters. Neutral Capitular Bra
