Rated 5 out of 5 by Ruffled Peplum Top I love love love this top! The fabric is beautiful, but it still feels fresh and not too formal. The peplum is a little lower and the cut a little boxier than most peplum shirts, but I think that helps make it a more fun (ie: less formal) top. Both of the colors are fantastic. It runs big, though. I would size down. November 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This speaks Anthro This top has a lot of cool style. Don't let the awkward photo turn you off. I wasn't sure from the photo about the lining hanging down; it looked odd to me, sloppy, but I really needed something nice to go with the lapis lace pencil skirt, and so, I took the risk. I couldn't be happier, really. The cut is impeccable; the material is a lovely, rosy, ivory lace that has a retro flair to it for me, and I actually love the ivory lining that shows. That's one of my favorite parts: it keeps the look not too precious and dressy. It's all a clever design: the fitted bodice, the lace, the rosy-ness, the combination with the lapis pencil are all divine. The sizing is spot on. I bought the medium and am a size 8 top, 34DD. Rated 5 out of 5 by Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Spied this on my way out and just had to try it on! Was certainly in the running on buying but the practicality of it made me turn it down... for now. The fit is nice, slender through the arms with the lace, but the body is a bit loose. I don't think it's very "peplum" like because I think true peplum is very waist defining and this one just hung at the waist. It also seems like it will rip easily. Lace is delicate and with two small children, I just didn't see it happening. With that said, it's very pretty and the layering effect is wonderful. The lining is very soft and quite warm. I started to sweat a little in the store, so I think it will be great for fall and winter. September 15, 2012
