I vacillated for days over ordering this skirt –a bit over budget for me. I justified this purchase because a standard black skirt is my “winter uniform.” It is such a classic look and then spread a little butter on the bread with that cream framework design. When I tried it on I was surprised by the weight of the skirt – it looks somewhat like a handkerchief hem but it’s a substantial material and fully lined so it hangs just right. The bodice shows a flat tummy (I don’t really have one) and a little curve on the bum – very flattering. I am 5’5” and 140ish and it is the perfect length for me in a size ten. I plan to wear it with pinks, shimmery golds and cream – shorty thin cotton sweaters and blouses. A longer cardigan or jacket could be added but I don’t like the idea of hiding the design. Ankle straps seem to give this skirt a vintage look. Can’t wait for a real fall day to debut this sweet thing!

This skirt (even on sale) was a little more expensive than I'm usually willing to pay. Now that I've tried it on, though, it is well worth the price.
The skirt fits TTS. It looks just like it does on the model. I'm only 5ft tall, and it hits right at my knee. The perfect length for a classy skirt. This skirt could easily be dressed up for a night out, semi-formal, or for work. It's versatile and the color scheme works with so many different tops. As another reviewer mentioned, the design instills thoughts of garters - but in a classy subtle way. The dress is floaty and feminine and vintage-esque. In short, it's utterly perfect. I think it's my new favorite piece.

I adore this skirt. It's very well-made and sexy in a way that doesn't scream at you. The pattern of the beige "stripes" (which are almost a pale pink) merely suggests a garter belt and highlights your tush. It also makes the waist look tiny and any tummy you may have disappear. The asymmetrical hem adds visual interest, so I plan to wear it with a simple blouse, probably beige or a soft, pale green. Definitely a special occasion item, but worth the steepish price (I bought it on sale! Yay!)
