Rated 4 out of 5 by Slightly disappointed, but still a pretty dress I've been stalking this dress online since June, waiting and waiting for it to finally go on sale before pulling the trigger. Now that it's on sale, I decided to go to my local Anthro to see if any were miraculously there. My jaw dropped when I found a single one (a size 10) on the sale rack. Unfortunately, not only was it too loose (in the picture I attached, I'm pulling the fabric tight in the back), but the sleeves were a bit too poofy for my liking. Combined with the bow, I kind of felt like I was wearing a little girl's dress-- borderline costumey, and I prefer buying dresses I know I can wear to work and casually. I just felt like I wouldn't be taken seriously if I wore this around Boston or to work. It's still a gorgeous dress, but I think it would look better on other people (or the hanger). Maybe if it were $50 instead of $110? I ended up taking home the red thornbill (bird print) KW dress instead. December 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect dress! I tried on this dress and absolutely fell in love. I didn't have any intention of spending $160 for a dress but I it fit me to a t and I left with it. I am pretty straight up and down (without curves) and the dress came in just perfectly at my waist and was super flattering. I love the vintage look of it and the fact I feel "sexy" without showing anything.I definitely recommend trying it on. July 3, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by So close! I just tried this on yesterday. I started with a 4 (my usual size) and found that it was a little too tight in the rib cage. I had to suck in the entire time I had it on in order to not feel like the dress was squeezing. When I tried on the 6, it was way too baggy. I would have loved this dress (it is beautiful), but I'm not willing to pay $160 to constantly suck in my ribcage. I guess I'm just between sizes on this one, unfortunately. I also love that this dress is modest (neckline, sleeve, length - it hit my knee and I am 5'3"). I hate having to layer with cardigans during the summer in Texas! July 15, 2012
