Rated 5 out of 5 by sooo flattering!!! I LOVE this dress! I took my normal size 2, so definitely tts for me - didn't even try the 4 on. The color is wow, bright and cheerful with navy birds. The fit is excellent, I'm 32D, around 120lbs and 26' in jeans, an hourglass build and found this dress was very flattering on, nips in at the waist perfectly. I can see it being worn in professional settings as well as for parties, etc. I bought it online for a specific occasion, and had actually decided on another dress and returned it, only to call the store a days later to buy it again when I found out it was sold out everywhere! Don't think it will make it to sale. Still deciding whether to keep, and here are my reasons for my original return: In the 2, which fit perfectly everywhere, it is a little snug in the chest and shoulders when I lift up my arms, I can't lift them all the way comfortably and I'm afraid the material could tear if I did. Also, there is no slit in the back of the skirt, and the material, while lovely, is polyester - I just wonder how it will hold up. It also doesn't have a slip, but I didn't find one was necessary. Rated 4 out of 5 by This dress is adorable and has all the right details: pockets, capped sleeves, darling pattern, flattering fit for the right figure. Fit: I am normally a size six/eight. My store only had the size eight to try on. It was loose almost everywhere creating a poof around my waist and some serious gaping between my chest and the fabric (I had to stand just so - to keep it decent for these photos). But sizing down wouldn't work for me - because, the waist fit quite comfortable. This dress definitely runs large - for those who are more hour-glass shaped, size down. This dress is super flattering and I can imagine it is perfect on those with an hour-glass shape. For me, back to rack. July 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely perfect for an hourglass build I would rate this dress as one of my top three Anthropologie purchases ever. I have a very classical feminine shape (I have a bust, thicker upper arms, hips, and thighs, but a tiny waist), and this dress is perfect. I'm glad I didn't listen to the reviews and order a size up, because I would have been swimming in the dress. The shoulders are not padded, but have a little gathered poufing going on that flatters arms that are not rail thin and emphasizes a small waist. I did not have any of the issues that other reviewers have mentioned with the waist size. The fabric is polyester, but doesn't look cheap. It could pass as silk to the uninformed (I can tell the difference, but I'm sure lots others can't. I would give this dress an A+ June 30, 2012
