Rated 5 out of 5 by Super cute! I love this designer, and have not been disappointed by her clothes yet. This dress is no exception. When I first put it on, I thought that it made me look like a little girl because of the full skirt and poufed sleeves. But my friend insisted that I buy it, and the longer I had it on the more I loved it. I guess it kind of grew on me. It's definitely a unique dress, and you will stand out for sure. (and looks better with a belt) I found it to be tts, and took my usual size 6 and had a little room to spare. For reference, I'm 5'2", 132 lbs, 34D. oh, and the fabric has a very nice weight to it. I'm actually surprised that it didn't cost more than it did. Highly recommend! May 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I haven't written a review in a long time but I felt like I should since is listed as "online exclusive", although my Anthro at Houston Highland Village had it in store. I'm 5'5 roughly 140 and carry my weight in my chest (36/c) and my hips (about 39/40 inches). I didn't feel like this dress felt too short, maybe 3 inches above my knee. It's definitely a mini but I didn't feel indecent in it and I'm usually uncomfortable in short skirts/dresses. It has a swingy-ness to it, but I don't think it looks too childish (I'm 25). This doesn't have pockets which I was sad to see but it's not a deal breaker for me. I had trouble opening the button at the nape of the neck to put it on but it was easy enough to slip on once I did. I normally wear a 6 or an 8 in Anthro dresses and usually will size up to an 8 if the dress doesn't have any stretch but the size 6 was the right fit, even a little bit loose. I probably could have sized down to a 4 but then I wouldn't have much room to move or eat. I think girls with smaller chests could easily size down from their normal size with no problem. I feel like the picture on my computer makes the blue look a little drab but I was pleasantly surprised to find that while it is a grey/blue it doesn't have that sort of "dirty" look I tend to associate with muted colors. Another thing worth noting, I'm usually weary of cotton poplin pieces because I think of poplin as a stiff fabric but this dress is actually pretty soft to the touch. I would love to see this in a different print but I may cave and buy this because it's so flattering on an hourglass/pear shape. May 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute style, good fit This Charlotte Taylor dress reminds me of what I used to come to Anthropologie for... great fitting clothes with a touch of whimsy. The dress is not nearly as short on me as it appears on the model (I'm 5'8''), and I love the way it fits. The print is nice, too, though I wish the colors were more vibrant. I think the price is decent for the quality. May 9, 2012

BLUE MOTIF A Made In Kind design.

Impeccably cut and printed with a smattering of Japanese teahouses, this capsleeved, waist-defining frock is most entertaining. An Anthropologie exclusive from Charlotte by Charlotte Taylor, the British design darling whose latest collection was inspired by the somewhat disparate realms of fishing, beekeeping and Japanese art.
