Rated 5 out of 5 by waiting for sale... G1 Paperboy is one of my most favorite brands now for skirts and shorts. I tried this skirt on but found that I had to size up because I like to wear it a bit lower than my natural waist. Normally a 6-8 but found the 10 to give me the look I wanted, plus made it a tad longer by wearing it lower. Anyway, I am def. planning on purchasing both colors when it goes on sale, which I am hoping it will and it usually does, so until then I will have to wait patiently. The blue color is so vibrant, looks great with just about any color. July 7, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Classic This is a great classic. I like to pair it with a soft blouse and a Cartonnier jacket. It is also generously proportioned (the fly comes down lower than on some of my other skirts), so I needed to size down one. The cotton is the soft, lovely kind that almost feels like velvet. Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect warm weather skirt This skirt is a great summer/spring staple and will go with everything in your closet! I couldn't believe the sale price and I know I'll get a ton of use out of it. This is for warmer temperatures (nice thin, but sturdy & durable, fabric) but that's one of the reasons I love it. I have a hard time finding a length and style in shorts and skirts that is flattering and appropriate to my age, but also not too heavy for hot and humid months. This skirt hits just above the knee (I'm 5' 3'' but have long legs relative to my torso) and sits comfortably just at my hips. I like a fitted style up around the hips - nothing too low or bulky. The cargo pockets give it a more casual feel than a pencil skirt. The fit is more pencil-skirt up top and opens slightly at the bottom to be functional in terms of movement and it does have some stretch and give so I don't worry about ripping or tearing. Very flattering. Wish I could buy more colors!! For sizing, I'm 115lb and usually wear a 0 or XS and have had issues with clothing from Anthropologie being too big ... bought this skirt in size 0 was the fit was perfect. October 21, 2012
