Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed... I was sooo... looking forward to receiving these boots after I ordered them online, that I even bought a leggings and sweater outfit to wear with them. Well, they arrived today - and I was immediately disappointed when I opened the box - and then, further disappointed after trying them on. They look like a cheap version of what was pictured online. First, if you look at the online magnified picture of the leather, it appears to be a quality and beautiful boot leather. In reality, the leather is a cheap-looking suede (the online description does say the leather is suede). The fit is also poor (although they do fit TTS). There is no cushioning and no arch support. As a consequence, the full weight of the foot falls hard on the ball of your foot. The boot does not fit the curve of the ankle and leg, so it is also not flattering to the leg. (I have pairs of boots that cost less than these boots, that are made of high quality beautiful leather, are form-fitting and flattering to the legs, and are comfortable to wear.) These are the type of boots I would expect to buy at a drug store. I am a devoted Anthro shopper and feel badly at having to write such a bad review - however, these are not what I expect to buy at Anthropologie. September 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfort with style These are so comfortable on and look really cute with jeans. I love the contrasting colors of the laces. A bit of design without being over powering. For the money I think they are just what I want for the winter but with the added bonus that I can wear them for hours on end. True to size. In my opinion not cheap at all. October 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this lady lumberjack bootie. I tried several pairs of booties from Anthro this season, and I didn't expect to like these. In fact, I never even noticed them until they went on sale. Surprisingly, these are my favorite this season after the DV Lyra booties! They are very comfortable, and as a 6.5/7, the 37 fit perfectly. The boot is fairly well made, with even stitching. You can't tell in the pictures well, but the heel and toes are burnished a bit so it's a little darker. The inside is mostly made out of cloth, except the insole is the normal, Anthro brand leather-ish bottom. It has a gum outsole (I do worry how long that will last) that makes your step nice and bouncy. The embroidery on the boot is well done, and the heel is very, very comfortable. I like the shoe with the top folded down, but it's also really cute folded up. I might even get different laces to make them a little more neutral if I want. Great 3 season bootie! October 19, 2012
