Rated 5 out of 5Â by Booberry The European Bootie You've Been Looking For!
I'm always looking for footwear to differentiate my outfits and this bootie does it well. I wear more browns than blacks and these shades are perfect to pick up lots of nuances in sweaters and other wools and leathers. Great with leggings!
The double-wrapped heels and soles with whip-stitching add such an incredible touch. The bootie is a bit stiff actually getting on but once your foot is in they are quite comfortable. I did have to size up because of this. I receive compliments every time I wear! Very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Sydneygirl Gorgeous Leifsdottir bootie
I received these last week and they are absolutely beautiful as the other reviewers note. This is my second pair of Leifsdottir shoes/ boots (other are the Niina Mary Janes) and again the quality is impeccable and I love the aesthetic. The criss cross strap detail in front looks really pretty and the combination of colors (black toe cap, brown strap and sole, tan body) makes them both unique and versatile. They are extremely comfortable, although do note that there is no zipper, just an elastic gusset to slip your foot in. This is the Leifsdottir that I love, I hope there will be more shoes, boots as well as dresses with this slightly edgy, clean aesthetic again next Fall.

These booties are a work of art! They are perfection walking! Stunning visual interest and truly excellent quality.
I wore them last night to a party (with the Calla Lily Dress) and I received so many compliments. Including "those are really nice shoes - can I look at them closer?" from an avowed birkenstock wearing, elk hunting man!
I think these do run true to size, the difficulty lies in feeding your foot into the bootie, it is rigid to get through, but once in, my pair fits like a glove. I was nervous ordering them without trying on. I am a 39. Another reviewer notes having to size up in order to have enough room to put her foot into the bootie. While the shoe is comfortable, as I said, it is rigid. I think depending on your foot (and ankle flexibility) you may be able to get your regular size or size up. For me, the 39 worked, and I would be afraid of sizing up, because being as a rigid as it is, if it's too big it really would be a bit like a floppy box on the end of your legs...
Versatility: I think the color design it great: camel, dark brown straps, and black toe caps. This can go with a variety of colors and outfits.
