Rated 1 out of 5 by Deeply Disappointed I ordered this dress as soon as it went on sale despite all the negative reviews because I had fallen in love with it. I was so excited when it arrived and was prepared to overlook the flaws in regard to unfinished edges and the tie instead of hook & eye closure at the back based on other reviews, as I thought surely they had been exaggerated since we are talking about a dress with a $300 price tag. Unfortunately I will be returning the dress because even at $112, I would be embarrassed to wear this to a formal event. The edges (every edge) are already fraying with strings hanging down, and they are so uneven that it looks like the excess material was torn away, not cut. I was still prepared to accept that this is just the 'look' the designer was going for, until I looked in the mirror because the jagged, uneven edging is very noticeable at the chest and it looks cheap and sloppy. Very disappointed in the quality of this dress, even with my lowered expectations prior to actually trying it on. December 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Run small Beautiful dress! Absolutely stunning on. Runs small. I am normally XS/2. But tried the 4P and it fits perfectly. A dream. I was worried about the materials, snags, flimsy quality, etc. that were mentioned.... Not with this online purchase. Baraschi brand is quality and this being my 4th dress with this "lace" design.... Dresses from the store may have carelessly snagged by customers trying it on... Highly recommend at this price. Petite size will just perfect for 5'6" gals look a little more leggy sexy. If you are petite, ths is your LBD. December 6, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Tight in the chest but overall a neat dress I am generally a 10 and I'm 5'3", so I ordered the 10P. The fit was great, except in the chest - just a bit too tight for my 34DD chest. The dress is pretty cool. I do like it, but it just felt too large in the bottom half and too tight in the top half. And yes, as many people noticed, the sheerness of the back does require a strapless bra - and also the label that is very stupidly put in clear sight. If this goes on sale, I might re-visit, but given the odd fit, I would only buy if it were, like, 30% of the present price. I'd also have to put on a compression bra. November 4, 2012
