I loved this online so I ordered it. I just received it today and I am so disappointed. The concept and design are nice but it is really cheap and tawdry looking in person. The dark brown 'stones' and metallic gold stones are hollow plastic that has been coated with paint. Clearly this is going to scratch/wear off and look rubbish very quickly. This is the kind of necklace I've be happy to pay $15-$20 for not $58. The metal is really light and flimsy. I feel like one quick tug would snap the links in this necklace. All in all, this is not the quality and craftsmanship that I would expect from an Anthropologie product. This was my first jewellery purchase from this store and I won't be risking it again.
The worst part is that I am not in the US and am not paying $$$ to send this piece of rubbish back to Anthropologie.

 by RachelMcAdams GORGEOUS statement piece
I'm so happy I was finally able to snag this necklace. It was love at first sight when I saw it on Anthros webpage and it's even prettier in person! The only difference I found was that the 2 stones that seem to be a pink hue are actually more purple/pinkish grey in real life. This is a total non-issue for me though because I actually like it more than the picture online.
It pairs well with so many different colored tops!

This is one of those pieces (like many at Anthro) where you decide whether looks or quality is more important to you. This is a very pretty necklace - it lays very nicely, draws good attention, and is lightweight enough to be comfortable all day. It has multiple pops of color - the plum, the ivory, the tan, the gold, the grey - and they all tie together nicely. I must say it pains me to pay $58 when the beads are so inexpensive - the gold ones are the most noticeable, but again, this is a looks or quality piece. It is however, very nicely done and I didn't feel that is was cheaply made as there are no quality issues in that regard, just inepensive beads - you decide.
