Rated 5 out of 5Â by emster basic with a twist (er... stripe)
I am 32AA-28-38, 5â4â. I usually am a 2 or 4 in tops, though due to my small bust I can usually take my smaller size in unstructured sleeved tops like this. I took a 2 in this shirt, so I would say this shirt runs true-to-size. I found the sleeves to run slightly short unrolled, hitting just at my wrist bone. I have monkey arms for my height, but taller women may be limited to wearing the sleeves rolled up.
The garment measurements of the 2 are approximately 36â bust flaring to 42â at the hem; 26â long from shoulder to front hem and 29â from shoulder to back hem; 13.5â across the shoulders seam-to-seam; 12â from shoulder seam to cuff (rolled) and 24â (unrolled); total measurement from center back to unrolled cuff hem is nearly 31â.
The fabric is thin but not see-through. The blue has more grey in it than most chambray shirts. The contrast stripe is also in the shirt cuff, so you can wear the sleeves rolled once and still show off the cute stripe. This is a good, basic shirt with enough structure and extra detail (tucks, gathered sleeves, and of course the contrast stripe) to work on its own, but I also plan on layering it underneath my sweaters during the cooler months. It is by Postmark.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by reneew A Classic With a Twist
The chambray color is perfect, and the fabric is soft but substantial. The title's choice of "swingy" might be off, though, because it really doesn't swing. It is a fairly straightforward interpretation of a classic. From the view online, one cannot see that the back of the shirt is substantially longer. It runs TTS, and it isn't oversized or frumpy. I have to be careful about that because I am broad through the shoulder and wear a 36C, so somtimes these types of shirts make me look preggers. It is more form fitting, though, in the true size. If you wanted oversized, you should size up. I fit the Medium in this one. I am giving it four stars, though, because I am not convinced that it is worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by anthropologist great chambray top
I had tried on the Tried and True top which has gotten so many great reviews and didn't care for the fabric, but liked the idea of the tunic style. This is the perfect alternative for me since the cotton fabric is soft and lightweight without being sheer and the length is just right (low hip). The chambray shirt is classic and this is a nice twist. Cute red fabric details at the button-up arms and the shirt tails. The back is pleated so it gives more shape and takes away some of the volume so the back isn't billowy. The arms are full length but they roll up to above the elbow. I am a size 2/4, with small bust, and the 2 was a good fit. Maybe to wear this shirt over a bathing suit (as styled by Jcrew) you could size up. Overall an easy top for spring and summer.
