Rated 4 out of 5 by Drew Organic cotton dress that is so fun!
I love that this dress is made of organic cotton; wish it were made in the USA but Anthropologie is getting better at adding homegrown clothes so I won't ding a star for that.
The dress is decidedly casual with its loose fit, short length, and fun, bright pattern. I wonder if it is just a tad too loose though; I can't size down from the XS but I think you might consider sizing down if you have the option as the waist does not cinch in even a little bit. It is a well made dress and I think the pattern is a winner though may be a bit memorable to wear too often and I think you may find yourself limited with styling options but that is pretty evident from the product shot. I found the length to be really short, hitting me about mid-thigh; when I reach my arms up I fear for my modesty so perhaps I will wear knicker underneath.
Still not sure if I am keeping the dress but it does look really cute with white Oxford flats...

I couldn't wait to see/try this dress on in the store after seeing it on the home page earlier this week. But I was so surprised and disappointed when I saw it in the store b/c the look and feel were really sub standard. Moreover, I just thought the dress was really one dimensional in that it only represents one whose style is 60's mod/vintage. I felt like it couldn't even be styled to dress it up or even modernized. You will know what I mean when you see it!!
For those whose style this represents, the fit is true to size.

I usually wear 50s style dresses because I'm that kind of curvy. This dress is the first dropped waist dress I've tried and I love it. My waist is small enough that the dress naturally indents for me just like on the mannequin shown, and the dropped waist falls perfectly at my hips with the over all length being at my knees (I'm 5'2" with the xs fitting great). I've received loads of complements at work, and I find it one of the easiest and most comfortable of my dresses to wear. Goes great with a double breasted light grey fisherman's style sweater and alpine grey tieks. Over all think that the style would suit any curvy petite person well.
