Parlor Curtain

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 27 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by sand= gold I bought the sand color and really wondered based on the online photo if they were going to look like an olive/khaki, but the are very much gold with no olive/green tone at all. "parlor" is a good descriptive term for them as they look quite fancy and suitable for a room I would envision in an old movie like Gone With the Wind or something. While they definitely have feminine appeal and beautiful details like the covered buttons, I think in a casual or more masculine room they would be right at home as well. I hung them in my daughters room with tiebacks and used the Weaver Bird curtains as "sheers" underneath. They look expensive and are definitely worth the price in my opinion. I've purchased lesser quality curtains from Anthropologie and paid more. These might be my favorite ones yet. January 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by beautiful and velvety I bought the teal color and its beautiful. Just like the picture. They are heavy and rich in the feel and that was what I was looking for. I ordered 1 to make sure I would like the color, and will now order the other four I need. If you are looking for a heavier, velevty feel to a curtain, then this is it. Beautifully made. I love them.. September 25, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Disappointing! If I could give these negative stars I would. Should have listened to the reviews with one star, as they were the accurate ones. I was so happy these finally went on sale in the sky blue, (was also going to get some in turquoise) still spendy but they seemed perfect. I ordered 4 panels in sky blue. First off they aren't any where near Sky Blue. I expected a little discrepancy from my monitor, but these are not even close to sky blue, not even in the rainy days of Seattle. They are a very grayish-greenish sad color. Even if I could get past the color, the worst of it is, there are little white spots all over them-ALL 4 of them, it looks like wherever the little "balls" on the edges came in contact with the rest of the curtain when it was folded, somehow turned the velvet white. My guess is that it happens with all the colors. Why does Anthro not have quality control? I could see it without even opening all the packages up, which is why I am mostly irritated, it's not like someone didn't notice. I know their items are made overseas and are not always the best quality but I like shabby chic, so I was hoping against hope for these as they were so cute in the photo. Sadly these are just shabby and are going back today. March 28, 2013
