Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice, but too expensive I loved this quilt initially. Its very pretty, great color, soft fabric. However, after about six months it started getting little rips in the seams. After using it for one year it has a lot of tears and now I have to buy a new quilt or duvet and comforter. Its very pretty but to rip after only six months, it is not worth the price. August 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Feminine Beauty This comforter is just wonderful! Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it is also so extremely soft and comfortable. The fabric gatherings throughout make it look vintage and soft, and the jersey cotton material is so comfy-cozy. I would definitely recommend this bedding to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, feminine, beautiful comforter! June 22, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Wanted to love this but... I fell in love with this quilt set a couple of years ago, but never bought it because of how pricey it was. I finally splurged and was so excited! I am so disappointed. The quilt lies very flat on the bed, not even slightly puffy like the photo shows. It looks very wrinkled, which, after shipping, is to be expected, but even after being on the bed a while, doesn't look ruched, but rather still just wrinkled. I thought I could live with it, but it's quite poorly made. One other reviewer noted that it tore quite easily. This is true. Pulling the quilt up while making the bed, I could hear threads snapping. Pulling the quilt up to cover myself at night, again, threads snapped. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. The standard shams are thin, tee-shirt feeling material, very see-through, so you'll need white sheets if you get the white color (which was originally shipped as antique-white, and is quite unattractive). Just disappointing all around. And I so wanted to love it in person as much as I love the photo. I'm sad that the set isn't as pretty as it is online and it is just not worth the money.
